The end of a wonderful three night stretch

We have been battling sleep issues for the past few months with Andrew (well, 18 months if you count Carson). He has had trouble going to sleep, as well as getting up at night, and eventually sleeping in bed with us. He has started going to bed easier. Last week we finally got him to sleep in a sleeping bag in our room if he got up during the night. This week he had three nights in a row when he slept in his bed from 8pmish until a little after 7am. How nice!

Yesterday he fell asleep in his room (having a time out there due to his bad behavior) around 4:00 and slept for an hour or more. So at his usual bed time he was not ready for bed. He sat beside me on the couch while I read asking all sorts of questions. But at 10ish he said he wanted to go to bed. At 10:30 he came out of his room, I tucked him back in and went to our bedroom to go to bed. He was soon in there and wanted to sleep in the sleeping bag.

He was quiet for a little while except heavy sighing every once in a while. Then he said

"Mom?"

"Yes?"

"When will it be morning?"
