Carson turned 5 back on Nov. 1. On Carson's birthday he took some cupcakes to school to share with his classmates. We also had cupcakes here at home after supper and he opened a gift from Andrew and a gift from Chad and I.
Andrew picked out this
Dagedar set for Carson. They are these balls that are supposed to race and jump on these tracks. But unfortunately they do not work very well at all. Maybe the set we got was a dud, but I wouldn't recommend purchasing a set. Andrew felt really badly about his gift but we assured him that he thought he was picking out something really cool (of course it looks really cool on TV!) and that Carson would enjoy. It was not his fault that the toy didn't work very well.
We got Carson this T Rex from Imaginext. Carson was really into looking at toy magazines or watching toy commercials and declaring that he wanted something, really EVERYTHING he saw.

energetic, he runs or does this wild animal crawl everywhere
goes to preschool 4 mornings a week
asks repeatedly "how long until Andrew comes home?"
loves entertaining his baby brother
snacks all day long, if he is allowed "I'm not hungry for lunch, I'm hungry for a snack!"
can be so sweet one minute and super angry the next
can count to 30 (or maybe even higher?)
enjoys story time at the library on Tues. afternoons and choir on Wed.
played soccer this fall and in Dec. started gymnastics at the Y
