The radio station at the Naz and a local christian bookstore sponsor these showings. We went to one last year, The Wonderful Wizard of Ha's. The kids really enjoy these and the radio DJs do a job of fueling the excitement! Abe and the Amazing Promise was the story of Abraham and Sarah and taught the kids (and adults) about patience. They also give out prizes that are donated by the bookstore, we didn't win any prizes. Andrew kept raising his hand whenever they called some one's name and throwing off the DJs. He would then add "Aahh, I'm never gonna win any prizes!"
We had the other family we went with over to our house for some dessert and play time. We had Oreo Freak-out. (If you haven't had this you must make it. You crush up two rows of Oreos and put in a 9x13 in pan. Put softened vanilla ice cream on top. Drizzle carmel and hot fudge over ice cream. Crush remaining row of Oreos and place on top. Freeze for a few hours and then enjoy!! Some people add peanuts as well.) It was getting late and time for them to head home. Playtime with their three kids is never long enough for Andrew!! He thought they could sleep here and go to church with us. Maybe he would stay in his room all night long then....that might not be a bad idea!
