Days of Elijah

My cousin Jill and Eben had a baby boy this week and named him Elijah. I was telling the boys about their new little second cousin and told them his name. I said/sang "You know,...These are the Days of Elijah...." And Carson promptly started singing "There's no God like Jehovah, There's no God like Jehovah" I am amazed how they are like little sponges! and the things they remember at times are amazing!

I am supposed to lead songs this week at church. I asked the boys what songs they wanted to sing and of course they said "There's no God like Jehovah!!" I responded that I didn't know how to play guitar and that seemed like a guitar song. Andrew said he could teach me how to play guitar. How very thoughtful of him, but he doesn't really know how to play. If I learned from him, I'm positive the song would be a huge flop.

Chad stumbled upon this video, I think it was when he was looking up information for Convention. This shows that you don't need to know how to play guitar to sing this song. Unfortunately our small church does not have voices like this! I like how the sign language adds a nice touch and the very end when they slow it down... the harmony gives me goose bumps.

I love the singing on this video. Beautiful harmony!

I can't believe Carson could sing the song, too sweet.
