Carson James

This little guy can be quite the spitfire.  He throws fits with the best of them.  He took a nasty spill on his scooter while my mom was here and scraped his knee pretty badly.  It was pretty dramatic and proved to be for several weeks before it healed completely.  This picture shows "his bad leg".  He was really upset with me for something...not sure what now, just prior to taking this picture.  He was pouting and fell asleep like that on the chair.

This winter he always wanted to wear shorts and t-shirts.  So we let him when we were just at home.  When we left the house he needed to put pants on and usually he would only want to wear comfy pants, no jeans.  But since this scrape and then it reopening a couple of times, now he will only wear pants and usually he wants jeans!  What a difference a few months can make!  But it is HOT now and he wants to wear jeans.  Whatever buddy, I have way to many other things to do than argue with you about clothes.

He is the proudest big brother. He loves holding Alex, giving him hugs & kisses, talking to him. When I am standing and holding Alex, he often says "Can I see Alex?" or "Can I see his face?".

Oh, and another clothing struggle he is having is he only likes two t-shirts now.  Come on, you have a closest full of cool t-shirts (actually way too many shirts!) and you will only wear 2!  He has on one of his favorite in the above picture.  His other favorite he has on in the post about riding his bike.  The brown one is football, the blue one is basketball.  I refuse to do laundry just so he can wear one of his favorite shirts, so some mornings he throws fits.  Other times he asks very sweetly if I will wash he & Andrew's clothes.

Here he is keeping Alex company and apparently giving me the peace sign.
