He has this thing about not looking at the camera when a picture of him is being taken. His body might be positioned to the camera, even his face but his eyes will be everywhere BUT at the camera. He stood on the porch for a long time til I was able to capture the above shot. 
This one didn't take quite as long but then he was doing weird things with his arms or feet. Such a silly little guy. 
I tried to get a picture of both boys...Andrew's 3rd day & Carson's first day. The first picture I took is on the left---Good of Andrew. The last picture I took of the two of them is on the right--- by then I think Andrew was thinking "Are we done yet? Just look at the camera CARS!"
As soon as Andrew gets picked up by the bus, Carson and I hop in the car to take him to preschool. Here he is entering the preschool building.
Sometime in the past two years that Andrew has been going to this same preschool, Carson has started this little game. With one foot he hops into the center white square and then hops out of the squares with the other. There are quite a few of these blocks down the hallway to his classroom.
He had a great day at preschool! He did not hesitate at all when I took him to his room. So fun to pick him up the past two afternoons and receive a great big hug and an enthusiastic "MOM!"As for me....yesterday afternoon I ran all over town doing some errands and looking at some antique stores. We are trying to find night stands for some of the bedrooms in our house to make the rooms a bit more complete. Today I got a haircut by myself in the middle of the day! and then I canned some tomatoes. I do miss the boys and wonder how they are doing at school but I think these peaceful afternoons with alone time will do wonders for me!
