It seems that we have another visitor, this time in our car. We first noticed some evidence when Chad had the hood of the car up to refill the windshield washer fluid. There were some small pieces of wood chips on top of the battery. Then we noticed some droppings on Carson's carseat and that the padding around the center belt of his carseat had been chewed on with some loose filling on his seat. Chad took out both of the boy's carseats and shook them out; they do have snacks in the car on long trips and plenty of crumbs were in the bases of the carseats.
I'm a little freaked out about this. What if some morning I go out to the car with the boys to take Andrew to preschool and we see the critter running around in the car. (I think we would be walking to preschool!) What if it has built a little nest somewhere in the car. In the dash? What if it decided to multiply. What if I'm driving the car and the critter runs up my leg. (There might be some serious screaming!)
The boys don't know about this little critter. I'm not sure what they would think. Maybe they would think that it is really cool. Maybe they would be freaked out like me.
Warm weather, where are you???

Yikes, I hate mice too! One time (when we lived in the country) a mouse ran up the hood of the car while I was driving. Lots of screaming followed!
