This past weekend Andrew, Carson and I spent the weekend at my parents with my family. My brother Tim (who now lives in New Hampshire) was in town for the weekend. I actually went on Thurs. with the boys, which was a day earlier than planned due to the weather forecast for a winter storm. They got about 5-6 inches of snow starting Thurs. night and throughout the day on Friday. Andrew and I played out in the snow and built a snowman. My dad was out plowing the driveway with his lawnmower with a blade on it. Andrew was terrified that Dad was going to knock down the snowman!

Andrew enjoyed helping Grandma make many different things, especially desserts.
Unfortunately the boys had colds while we were there. Carson became croupy Friday night and we took him to the doctor on Sat. morning. He was given Prednisone to help with the swelling and his breathing. If you have experienced Croup, it can be very scary the way they struggle to breath. He is much better now. They both still have coughs and runny noses but are getting better. Chad and I are unfortunately getting the bug now too. (and my parents too; Tric, Justin, Tim? how are you?)

I am so impressed with your blog. Nice work. I look forward to hearing more about your daily interactions with those sweet boys. And I had a scratchy throat earlier this week, but I'm staying strong.
I feel lousy.
