Anansi the Spider

Back on May 26th, Andrew had a school music program, Anansi the Spider.  It is an African tale.  We have read some of the Anansi books from the library.  The music was wonderful.  I loved hearing the drums and the chants.  Unfortunatley I didn't get to enjoy much of the program .... Alex was a bit fussey that evening, which caused me some anxiety being in a public place with a fussey newborn. 

We were able to take this awesome picture with the drums and the backdrop without any other students because Chad and I didn't communicate very well.  I don't remember what time Andrew was supposed to be there but I mentioned to Chad that a friend and I were talking and thought we might want to get there early to get decent seats.  Well, we were the first people there, even before the music teacher, well over an hour early.
