On Tues. June 7th, Andrew got off the bus on his second to last day of Kindergarten. He very excitedly exclaimed "I pulled my tooth out on the bus!" He must have been bored or encouraged by peers to pull it out because when he left for school I didn't think it was lose enough to be pulled out that day. Apparently he told his bus driven mid-route and she was kind enough to help him put it in a piece of paper and fold it up for him. He started out the school year without his bottom teeth, why not end it without his top teeth.
For a week he had a space where his tooth had been and then a very loose second tooth. We told him that at times he looked like "Nanny McPhee", a movie we had recently rented from Red Box. (I will have to check with Chad because I think he has a funny picture of him on his phone looking like Nanny McPhee.)
Then a week later he pulled out the second tooth. This time we told him the space where his teeth had been looked like the Batman symbol.
After loosing each of these two teeth, Andrew would have to learn how to pronounce his s's all over again. He had a bit of a lisp. Chad enjoyed asking him to say "Sally sells seashells by the seashore". Andrew actually became really good at saying this.
