From one protective Momma to another

This picture might not be the best but...one afternoon I looked out at our raised bed garden.  I saw these two crows sitting on the fence posts.  I thought it was kind of strange, at first.  I've never seen the aggressive crows sitting there before.  (Be sure your garbage is in a container and not just a garbage bag...the crows are sure to tear it apart!)  But then I rembered what Chad had showed me just a few nights ago.  A nest of baby bunnies right next to our raised bed garden.

Can you see the Momma rabbit near the one fence post.? She was not leaving her babies.  So what is one protective Momma to do for another Momma?  I walked outside and started clapping my hands.  The crows flew away!  But then a bit later they were back, and one crow was even down inside the fence.  That poor Momma rabbit was hopping around trying to keep the crows away from the nest.  I again went out and clapped my hands.

I don't think the crows got the bunnies.  We checked on them that night.

If only I could go outside and clap my hands and know that my three boys are protected.
