Hair

That is one thing people always comment about when seeing Alex, his hair.  People that know us will say "Did your other two have that much dark hair?"  People that don't know us will say "Look at all that hair!!"  One time a lady saw me with my three children.  She couldn't see inside Alex's stroller and asked "Is the baby a boy too?"  I said yes.  She peeked in and said "They all are red heads."  HUH?  That left me a bit baffled.  Yes, my hair is reddish...well maybe just red.  But Andrew & Carson & Alex?  Not exactly red.  Anyways.

Alex has been having some cradle cap, or is this part of his food intolerance's as well?  I don't really notice it because of "all that hair".  But when he is in good light, outside, or he has some flakes in "all that hair", then you do notice it.  I tried thee old baby oil treatment.  See oily head below.

It may have helped some...but then I washed his hair 3 times in 12 hours because his hair was so oily!  Still a bit scaly.

Here he is with his reseeding hairline-natural mo hawk and side burns...

and here he is post hair trim.  Just took a little off around his ears, across the back, a bit off the top.

if you see him in person, do not look too closely.  I am definitely not a barber!

Oh, these photos crack me up! What a cutie! And it makes me laugh that Eli has never had a haircut, but Alex already has. :)

I finally found a baby shampoo that gets rid of cradle cap immediately. It's Mustela's newborn shampoo and it worked wonders for Emma. Not cheap, but worth it if you are concerned about it.
