I believe it was Thursday night at the supper table Andrew asked Chad if he was going to mow the lawn tonight. Andrew has been asking this for a while now, but our lawn just doesn't need it quite yet, soon but not yet. I made a huge mistake by telling Andrew that Chad wanted to get a riding lawnmower just like Andrew's grandpas'. Andrew was so excited and thought we should go get one right away! Well we don't even know if we ARE going to get one let alone this very minute! So every day (at least once if not more than that) since I planted this idea in his little head he has been asking if we can go get one. And every time he ends up crying about it. I really should have known better!!
Today when he asked about it, Chad was telling him how expensive they were. Andrew very innocently said "You can borrow my money. It's in my church coat pocket." He received some Valentine's Day money that he has been carry around in his pocket in hopes of getting a new "super ball" (not sure what that is exactly) but was willing to help Daddy buy a lawnmower with it instead.

Grandpa spent 2.5 hours talking to the salesman about a new lawn mower! We bought a zero turn mower with a little bigger mowing deck. Probably overkill for our yard. Maybe Grandpa still likes toys too! mom
