Well that nearly broke my heart to hear him say that, especially since I was irritated by him waking up. That is one of my jobs, to make him feel safe in this world.

well that is just precious.
I used to think, "if only I could keep them safe at home a little while longer." Soon the little ones were ready for more adventures and that was okay too.
