Church Playgroup

This morning we met at our church for playgroup. The church recently put up a play area that they found used. It is an ark. Since it was used it didn't come with many of the originally things but yesterday two of the guys from church put two slides on it and made a wooden ramp up to the ark. They hope to add some swings too. The kids had so much fun playing on it. (forgot the camera) Carson was giving some of the other children hugs! Too cute! The one little girl didn't like it all that well and then the hug ended in a tackle of sorts. He also, at a different time, was pointing at her and saying "baby", when actually she is a month older than him. Andrew has so much fun with these boys from church and refers to them as his "best friends". Today there were 6 boys between the ages of 3-6. This playgroup is as much for the children as it is for the women! We enjoy getting out and seeing each other during the week, other than Sunday.

Kristi, I'm glad you're meeting other moms at church - what a good way to make new friends! I'm also curious - from your quote section -what kind of soup was the "best ever"? :)

It was a chicken noodle soup. I use one can of campbells chicken noodle soup, plus can of chicken broth, a can of chicken, some cooked noodles (put in just prior to eating) and some sauteed carrots and onions and put it in the crock pot. I also have made a whole chicken one meal in the crock pot, then I use the left over broth and chicken from that to make the soup. It is really tasty that way.
