Ever since we spent that summer in Maine 3 years ago while Chad was taking a course, we have really liked adirondack chairs. There is just something so peaceful, so relaxing, so summerish about these chairs. We have a little bit of expensive taste when it comes to these chairs, so we haven't purchased any yet.

Last week we did get these chairs for our deck. They are made out of old wine barrels. We got them for each other for our Mother's/Father's Day gifts. They really are quite comfortable ~ they don't really look like they would be. However not as comfortable as adirondack chairs. This afternoon while the boys were napping, I took the opportunity to sit on the deck in this chair, read a book and enjoy this wonderful fall-like weather we have been having. I had some great "Kristi time".
