Yesterday afternoon I told the boys that when Chad got home from work we were going to go out to eat at a restaurant for my birthday. We went about with the rest of our afternoon. Chad came home and was greeted by two very excited little boys. Andrew said "Dad we are going to McDonalds for Mommy's birthday party and we can play in the play area!" WHAT??? So I guess my definition of going to a restaurant for my birthday and Andrew's are just a little bit different! He was a bit dissappointed when I told him we weren't going to McDonalds but I just told him he can choose the restaurant when it is his birthday. He seemed ok with that.
We had an enjoyable dinner at Ruby Tuesday. The boys did well, we don't eat out that often. We came home and had some Dairy Queen ice cream cake that Chad brought home. Quite tasty. Here is a pic of the two little boys and I.
