Last week I finally recorded a message for our greeting on the answering machine. It has been over a year that we have lived here and had these phones and I am just now doing that! (my Dad will be thrilled! He does not like getting the prerecorded answering machine message "Hello..." makes him wonder if he dialed the right number/got the right line)
Today the phone was ringing, but I couldn't get to the phone in time. The answering machine started playing my recorded message. I had to stop and listen, "Is that really what I sound like?" Do you ever hear yourself or see a picture of yourself and wonder "Is that really what I sound/look like?"

Oh yeah! I really do not like the way I sound on a recording at all! And the look thing; I try not to take too many pics of myself, or I crop out what I don't like. :)
Funny you wrote this because this past week Dave finally recorded a message for our answering machine - one year later. I don't like the way I sound and so I was just putting off recording a message. :)
