On Sunday early afternoon we decided to visit the North Carolina Aquarium located in Manteo of the outer banks. We did this because it was raining. But before entering the aquarium the sun came out. The boys enjoyed seeing all the sea creatures; turtles, crocodiles, sting ray, starfish, sharks, sea horse... Probably the biggest disappointment was the fact that their air conditioning was not working. To say it was hot is a big understatement!! But everyone was good sports - it was my idea to go, oops! The turtle statue was outside the aquarium and for some reason Carson was acting like it was a train. He would say "Choo - choo!" and pump his arm up and down. Tim being the good uncle that he is played along! After that, the sun was still shining so we headed back to the rental beach house and the beach!!
